About UMOJA People with Disabilities Group
UMOJA People with Disabilities Group (UPDG) is a non-profit organization in Dzaleka Refugee Camp dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for the rights of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. We focus on improving the quality of life, fighting poverty, promoting equal opportunities, and eliminating stigma through social integration, skill development, and advocacy. Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by providing support, protection, and resources, and to create a world where their rights are respected and their lives are comfortable.
Mission: To enhance the capacity and environment of persons with disabilities through aid services, advocacy, and social support.
Vision: A world where the rights of persons with disabilities are respected, and they can live comfortably and independently.
