Education in Dzaleka
Stany Mwamba Dibwe arrived in Dzaleka from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in November 2017, after completing secondary school. He studied computer programming at the Dzaleka AppFactory and later joined a digital inclusion course operated by Jesuit Refugee Service with Konexio.
From learner to facilitator
JRS reported in 2020 that Dibwe completed the course at the top of his class, undertook online freelance work, and was recruited as an IT assistant and facilitator for a later group of learners.
His profile illustrates how digital education in Dzaleka has been linked not only to technical knowledge, but also to remote work and peer teaching where conventional employment options are restricted.
