About Women Shine Organization
Women Shine Organization is a refugee-led non-profit dedicated to empowering women and girls, supporting orphans, and promoting inclusivity for people with disabilities in Dzaleka Refugee Camp. Through education, skills training, mentorship, and community-driven programs, they aim to break barriers, foster independence, and create brighter futures.

Core Programs
- Skills Training & Capacity Building: Vocational training in tailoring, beadwork, soap making, baking, hairdressing, digital literacy, farming, and financial literacy.
- Psychosocial Support & Mental Health: Counseling, peer support groups, art therapy, and cultural healing activities.
- Economic Empowerment: Entrepreneurship support through start-up kits, mentorship, savings groups (VSLAs), and market linkages.
- Health & Wellness: Menstrual hygiene management, nutrition education, and disability-inclusive health workshops.
- Girl & Orphan Support: Provision of school fees, uniforms, tutoring, safe play spaces, and psychosocial care.
- Disability Inclusion: Inclusive training programs, accessibility advocacy, and peer confidence building.
- Advocacy & Awareness: Campaigns focused on GBV prevention, child protection, disability rights, and youth leadership.
