About Dzaleka Dojo
Dzaleka dojo club is a Community Based Organization formed to serve members of Dzaleka refugee community and its surrounding villages through sport and Yoga to enable physical, emotional & mental wellbeing. Dzaleka being a refugee camp, it has people who are psychologically distressed and facing mental illness for passing through unavoidable situations such as violence, war, and killings. Therefore, we established sports and yoga as the approaches to offer relief and promote their mental and emotional wellbeing. Sports ang yoga have been used as the tools to liberate trauma and promote a peaceful co-existance between refugees and the host communities.
