The Kibebe Artisan Workspace represents the intersection of cultural heritage, artistic skill, and economic survival in the Dzaleka refugee camp. Acting as a social enterprise, Kibebe provides a dedicated space where skilled artisans—many of whom brought generations of traditional crafting knowledge from their home countries—can work collaboratively.
In this vibrant workshop, materials such as recycled fabrics, wood, and locally sourced textiles are transformed into high-quality bags, home decor, and accessories.
