Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees (1951)
The 1951 Refugee Convention is the key legal document defining who is a refugee, their rights, and the legal obligations of states. Malawi acceded in 1987, with reservations.
Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees (1967)

ILO Convention C144 - Tripartite Consultation (International Labour Standards) Convention, 1976
