Annuarite’s journey to Dzaleka began in 2013 when she was kidnapped and experienced severe trauma. After escaping in 2015, she made her way to Malawi and eventually to Dzaleka Refugee Camp, where she was reunited with her biological mother six months later.

Through her creative work in fashion and photography, Annuarite has found a way to heal and help others. She uses her artistic talents to create beauty and meaning, transforming her experiences into creative expression that benefits the entire community.
