Founded in 2012 by Trésor Nzengu Mpauni, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tumaini Letu is a non-profit organization based in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Malawi, with a mission to promote the economic, social, and cultural inclusion of refugees through arts, culture, advocacy, and economic development. The Tumaini Festival, launched in 2014, has become a global phenomenon, drawing thousands of visitors annually to celebrate diversity and unity.
