About the Role
There is Hope is looking for an Entrepreneurship Instructor/Teacher to assist in developing business skills amongst the participants at its Vocational Training Centre at Lilambwe near Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dowa District.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Business Incubation Curriculum Review
- Teaching according to approved syllabus and methodology
- Assessing, recording and reporting on participants’ progress
- Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans
- Organizing teaching and learning materials for the lessons
- Enforcing participants’ discipline
- Maintaining class register and participant progress records
- Maintaining available equipment in the section
- Enforcing classroom and workshop rules and regulations
- Provide guidance, coaching, mentorship and support to participants
- Attending to delegated responsibilities
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration
- Able to manage people and teaching skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chichewa
- 2 to 3 years work experience in teaching entrepreneurship
- A good understanding of the TEVETA system in Malawi will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
